The Celebration of the Letters
The film is a documentary essay that revisits a childhood memory from 24 May 1986, when the celebration of the Bulgarian alphabet became a backdrop against which
the Chernobyl disaster remained unspoken. Interweaving archival footage, documentary testimonies, and an autobiographical perspective, the film explores how a global tragedy becomes embedded in human memory and how, in a society marked by silence, words cease to name reality and instead become a means of concealing it.

IN THE RHYTHM OF BULGARIA -
DANCE, TRADITION AND COMMUNITY
The film follows the journey of a young Bulgarian woman who, while living
far from her homeland, rediscovers her identity through the rhythm of the traditional horo dance.
Interweaving her personal story with a journey across Bulgaria's diverse folkloric regions
, the film reveals traditional folk dances not as museum artifacts, but as a living
heritage that continues to unite people, generations, and communities.
